My first day back to the library from maternity leave is - gulp - this Tuesday. I'll work mornings for two weeks and then jump back into the full-time frenzy in mid-August. Henry is enrolled at the wonderful MCC Child Care Center so we'll be able to see each other on my lunch break. I'm going to miss my little guy but I think that we'll both manage just fine.

My due date is TODAY! The OB/GYN that I met last week that Henry could arrive at any moment but so far he seems to be hunkering down in what has become the only home that he's known - my uterus.  He better not get too comfortable.  We plan to send him an eviction notice in the form of a picotin drip next Wednesday.

I felt a little antsy today so I pestered fellow librarians on Facebook to accept my offers of friendship. Here's a shout-out to Lindsay, Rudy and Tom! Keeping with the library theme, I went to the local public one and stocked up on reading and viewing material. I'm particularly excited to read the newest book by Mary Roach.
